This pricing compares favorably to a standalone United Club membership (~$650) while adding free checked bags, priority services, Premier Access travel benefits, and the ability to earn PQP through card spend.
The Club card earns 5X on United purchases, 2X on dining and all other travel, and 1X everywhere else. It is one of the few Visa Infinite cards from Chase, offering premium travel protections, primary rental car coverage, and trip cancellation/interruption insurance. For the most frequent United flyers who value lounge access, the Club card can replace a standalone membership while offering additional earning and benefits.

Its main upgrade is full United Club membership for the cardmember and one guest, rather than Quest's lack of membership. It also raises United earning from 4X to 5X, improves card-spend PQP earning to 1 PQP per $15 up to 28,000 annually plus 1,500 Card Bonus PQP, adds Premier Access services, and offers over $875 in annual partner credits versus Quest's over $850. After $20,000 in annual purchases, it can also provide a second 10,000-mile award-flight discount.
