Accessibility

Points Brief should work without a mouse, perfect vision, or motion.

The Astro scaffold targets WCAG 2.2 AA with semantic structure, keyboard navigation, visible focus, reduced-motion support, and responsive reading layouts.

What the scaffold includes

  • Semantic header, navigation, main, article, section, table, and footer landmarks.
  • A skip link and keyboard-operable mobile navigation.
  • Visible focus states that do not rely on color alone.
  • Minimum 44-pixel interactive targets, with 48 pixels used for primary controls.
  • Reduced-motion support and layouts designed for text zoom and narrow screens.
  • Left-aligned, content-sized attribute tables with safe horizontal scrolling.

Known work before launch

Each migrated card page still needs keyboard, zoom, screen-reader, color-contrast, and true mobile-viewport review. Reader-reported accessibility issues will use the private correction form rather than a public comment feed.
